Autism Acceptance Month
Tuesday April 1
April is Autism Acceptance Month (formerly Autism Awareness Month) and it celebrates and advocates for the 75 million people around the world – about 1% of the global population – that are on the autism spectrum. Autism impacts interaction, communication, and development in varying degrees, and it affects each individual differently. Started in 1972, Autism Awareness month emphasizes public awareness to promote acceptance, celebrate differences, and foster inclusivity for autistic individuals. Throughout this month, we acknowledge that acceptance is an ongoing action, and there remains further effort needed to enhance representation and attentiveness to the autistic community. Good Friday (US & Canada) Sexta-feira da Paixão (Brazil)
Friday April 18
Part of the Christian Holy Week, Good Friday commemorates the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. In many areas, it is a municipal holiday marked by the closing of stores and schools.
Easter
Sunday April 20
Occurring on the Sunday following the first full moon of Spring, Easter is the Christian holiday commemorating the resurrection of Jesus from the dead. Easter is commonly celebrated by attending church services, decorating and hunting for eggs, and snacking on chocolate bunnies and candies.
Tiradentes (Brazil)
Monday April 21
Joaquim Jose da Silva Xavier, known as Tiradentes, was a leader of the separatist liberation movement Inconfidencia Mineira, which aimed to free Brazil from Portuguese rule. After the institution of the First Brazilian Republic in 1889, the anniversary of his death (April 21) became a national holiday. While there isn’t much in the way of festivities on this day, public officials make addresses; schools, businesses, and banks close; and many Brazilians enjoy the holiday at home.

Safety Committe Meetings
The individual Office Safety Committees will merge into a company-wide Safety Committee with representatives from each office. Meetings will be held on the 3rd Thursday of each month, alternating between 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM EST to accommodate time zones. The 2025 meeting dates are:
Q1 March 20 at 12:30 eastern
Q2 June 19 at 2:30 eastern
Q3 September 18 at 12:30 eastern
Q4 December 18 at 2:30 eastern
